really good today. Actually, surprisingly, feeling confident (a true rarity) with my swanky new hair style and my cute sailor-ish outfit ^__^
In other news; today Beeks and I went to pay rent, so we decided to go for a spontaneous smoothie - they were truly delicious :3
We’re also debating as to whether we’re in the mood to actually go to the cinema for once. If so, we’re going for a Joss-fest, obviously, what with the release of Cabin In The Woods and The Avengers. Spoilt for choice in the Whedonverse recently.
I’m also loving the rain, weirdly. Gives me the perfect excuse to use my spiffy new umbrella :3 Who knew that one day I’d actually want and use an umbrella? I definitely did not see that coming. I must be getting old.
(P.S. Finally got around to watching Forrest Gump last night. All I can say is that I was not emotionally prepared. Beaut of a film.)
Joss Whedon has created his own studio (finally) has made me unbelievably happy. Hopefully this means no more associations with FOX, no more cancelled projects - just pure Whedonverse. Squee ^___^
meeting my boy’s grandma wasn’t all too bad, I actually had a lovely time. It was especially lovely seeing Bear, Charles and Buzz (three of the sweetest people to walk the Earth). I even managed to get Bear to do most of the penguin dance with me ^__^
Beeks’ concert was a hit too (well, the singing parts anyway. I wasn’t all too keen on the churchy parts…although, it was good for a laugh - no offence intended to anyone religious that reads this). The singing was glorious though, I especially liked the song that had a similar tune to that of one of the songs found in The Little Mermaid.
Thanks again to Buzz for the nice surprise gift, The Big Bang Theory season one, you are too generous a guy :3
Truly one of the best animes that I have ever seen. Manages to pull off being an ever changing sci-fi drama that is actually incredibly accurate in terms of the way in which life in space would effect the human body and humanity itself. Whilst conveying the seriousness associated with sci-fi, it also manages to contain some of the most three dimensional (incredibly quirky!) characters I have ever seen. You cannot help but love them :)
An absolute must watch and, if possible, buy!
